About Danielle
I am a psychotherapist, writer, and nature nerd. I earned my MA in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, California, and hold a BA from Brown University.
My Story
Before entering the mental health field, I led a high-octane and stressful lifestyle, working in corporate companies and startups. However, in 2019, my addiction to constant productivity and achievement was forced into submission when I received a cancer diagnosis. This experience directed me inward, leading me to discover the transformative power of working with my dreams and cultivating an intimate and sensory relationship with the natural world.
Through my own journey of illness and loss, I have realized that the darkest moments require us to face difficult and existential questions about life, death, and meaning. I believe that no one should face these questions alone, which is why I have dedicated my life to supporting those who are suffering on their unique healing journeys. In my sessions, I bring a spirit of existential curiosity, along with empathy coupled by accountability.

— Esther Perel
